IT Assessment
A complete, independent assessment of your IT estate (maturity, cost, technical debt, governance and risk), delivered as a clear, actionable report with a prioritized improvement roadmap.
What we deliver
Comprehensive discovery of your entire IT estate (hardware, software, cloud services, contracts and dependencies), giving you accurate, complete visibility for the first time.
Evaluate your IT capability across infrastructure, security, operations, governance and architecture against industry benchmarks, with a clear maturity rating for each domain.
Identify license waste, duplication, underutilized infrastructure and contract inefficiencies, with a quantified savings opportunity and a prioritized optimization roadmap.
Assess the extent and impact of technical debt across your application estate and infrastructure, enabling informed decisions about modernization investment priorities.
Review IT governance frameworks, risk management practices and control environments, identifying gaps and recommending improvements aligned to board expectations.
Translate assessment findings into a prioritized, costed improvement roadmap, with quick wins, medium-term projects and strategic investments clearly defined.

How it works
Every engagement follows the same five steps: baseline the current state, design the target model, roll out in stages, operate it, and improve against measurements.

Assess
Baseline the current state, name the gaps and put the success criteria in writing.
Design
Architect the target operating model and the toolchain it needs.
Deploy
Implement, configure and validate in a staged rollout.
Operate
24/7 management with contracted response times and proactive monitoring.
Improve
Continuous improvement driven by metrics, incidents and changes in the business.
Every engagement runs under a written SLA: a commitment, not a best-effort promise.
Dedicated engineers who know your stack. No generalist help-desk tier in between.
Service reviews every two weeks, roadmap updates every quarter.
The technologies we run this on
Knowledge Hub
What we have written about running and managing technology, collected in one place.
01How long does an IT assessment take?
Two to six weeks depending on the size of the organization. What mostly drives the timeline is the interview schedule: technical data collection can be automated, but people's time cannot be compressed.
02Do we have to give access to our systems?
Read access is enough. We do not ask for change privileges; the data we collect and the scope of access are defined in writing beforehand and covered by a confidentiality agreement.
03What is the output?
A current-state map, a maturity assessment, a risk list and a prioritized recommendation plan. Recommendations are plotted by impact and effort, so there is no debate about where to start.
04Will we only get bad news?
No, and that matters. The report also records what works well, because it is true and because you need to know what to keep. A report that only lists gaps puts the team on the defensive.
05Do you also implement the recommendations?
If you want us to, but it is not required. To keep the assessment independent, we explicitly list the recommendations that do not involve buying services from us.
Let's work out where to start
Within two weeks you get it in writing: what works, what carries risk, and a prioritized roadmap.
